PERU LNG S.R.L has requested funding from the International Finance Corporation (IFC) of the World Bank, for the development of the following activities construction of a natural gas processing plant, as well as a marine terminal and a 408 kilometers gas pipeline, which runs from Chinquintirca in Ayacucho to Pampa Melchorita on the coast.
According to the established procedures, the International Finance Corporation has completed an assessment of the environmental and social situation of the project and has prepared an Environmental and Social Review Summary (ESRS). PERU LNG communicates that the Environmental and Social Review Summary of the natural gas transportation and liquefaction project is available to the general public.
This Proposed Investment Summary is prepared and distributed to the public before the Board of Directors of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) takes the proposed transaction into consideration. Its purpose is to improve the transparency of IFC's operations, and should not be interpreted as if it reflects the Board's decision.
