Inauguration of the first Impacting Lives Soccer Tournament in Ayacucho

  • The inauguration of the tournament brought together schoolchildren from more than 10 public educational institutions through sports.

 

The Impacting Lives Social Program - Soccer inaugurated the first tournament with the support of PERU LNG. More than 320 students from 10 public schools in Vinchos and Huamanga participated, this event marks a milestone in children's soccer in this area. Torneo Provincial de Fútbol Impactando Vidas con PERU LNG. Con la participación de más de 320 estudiantes de 10 colegios públicos de Vinchos y Huamanga, el evento marca un hito en el fútbol infantil.

 

The tournament will be held from May to November 2024, in the under 9- and 11-year-old categories. In addition to the matches, technical workshops for teachers and psychological and nutritional talks for children and their families will be offered.

 

The inauguration took place in the district of Vinchos and 14 matches were played on four grass fields. Impactando Vidas, together with the Municipality of Vinchos, offered refreshments and souvenirs to the student delegations. Prominent guests, such as the mayor of Vinchos, Faustino Flores, and PERU LNG representative, Bruno Valdez, attended the event.

 

The ceremony included a parade and artistic presentations typical of the Vinchos area, highlighting values such as creativity and teamwork. The champion teams in each category will travel to Curaçao to compete in an international meeting in January 2025.
