The Integrated Management System (IMS) applied by PERU LNG is a global system of policies, procedures, plans, and standards, focused on environmental protection, health surveillance, and a safe working environment. The IMS involves all employees, contractors, and subcontractors who provide services or perform any activity for PERU LNG.

For PERU LNG the protection of resources and the ecosystem are key factors in the development of its operations. For this reason, monitoring programs are developed and implemented that allow establishing the state of the ecosystem and implement actions aimed at prevention and control.

BIODIVERSITY MONITORING PROGRAM

BMAP is a strategic alliance between PERU LNG and the Smithsonian Conversation Biology Institute.

This program was developed by PERU LNG in cooperation with the Center for Conservation, Education and Sustainability (CCES) of the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute (SCBI), with the purpose of conserving biodiversity during the construction of the project and the operation of the pipeline, the plant, and the marine terminal.

The BMAP determines the condition of species, their habitats, and changes over time through biological assessments and monitoring. With this information, guidelines are prepared so that PERU LNG can make decisions that contribute to mitigating any impact on biodiversity. The results of the BMAP can be seen in detail on the website of the program.
