After passing a difficult knowledge test and some academic interviews, the student of the National University of Engineering (UNI), Luis Enrique Tello Pretell, 21 years old, will continue his studies at the University of Oklahoma (USA) this August thanks to the PERU LNG Scholarship.
The scholarship consists of financial support for one year for the student's travel, living and living expenses. In this way, Luis Enrique, who is in the ninth cycle of Petrochemical Engineering and belongs to the Senior Fifth of his specialty, will be able to acquire new knowledge in one of the most renowned universities in the oil and gas field.
"PERU LNG considers it important to invest in young people, especially now that the country is growing and demanding specialized professionals," said Igor Salazar, General Manager of PERU LNG.
The PERU LNG scholarship is an educational incentive aimed at young students in the last cycles of the Mechanical, Petrochemical, Chemical and Electronic Engineering specialties. Its objective is to provide financial support so that young students can continue their professional training in internationally recognized academic institutions in order to contribute to the development of the country. For this reason, at the end of the year of preparation in Oklahoma and upon completion of his studies, Luis Tello joined the team working at the plant.
