On November 24, the radio program Hagamos Negocio, promoted by PERU LNG in Chincha and Cañete, was recognized with the prestigious Business Creativity Award, granted by the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences (UPC). PERU LNG's radio program won first place in the Communications category. This award seeks to recognize companies that foster an innovative culture and become an example for other companies.
"This award reaffirms PERU LNG's interest in promoting local development," mentioned Igor Salazar, General Manager of PERU LNG. "The radio program Hagamos Negocio uses creative means to foster entrepreneurship and stimulates the growth of small businesses in the communities near the PERU LNG plant," he added.
The radio program Hagamos Negocio is broadcast once a week in Chincha and Cañete and is aimed at promoting entrepreneurship through inspirational interviews, useful business tips and the presentation of local small business success stories. The program has achieved success with the local audience due to its combination of music and unique segments that encourage listeners to participate in spaces such as Haz tu Cherry a tu negocio. Additionally, the program features the participation of the renowned and charismatic host Nano Guerra Garcia from Somos Empresa, who visits the program to share motivational business tips.
In addition to the weekly broadcast of the radio program, this initiative includes events that serve as an echo for the dissemination of the messages provided through the radio. These events, known as La Noche de los Emprendedores, are held more than once a year in public spaces in Chincha and Cañete, where more than 300 people arrive in each city. These meetings use videos, music and success stories to motivate participants to take the initiative to establish their own business.
