More than six thousand children in Ayacucho will benefit from the educational materials they will receive from the Cuna Más National Program, thanks to the inter-institutional cooperation agreement signed with PERU LNG.
The agreement signed includes a financing of more than S/. 172 thousand Nuevos soles by PERU LNG for the production of 435 early stimulation kits and printing of stories for the Family Accompaniment Service and for the Day Care Service that the social program provides in Ayacucho. The materials will be destined for the users of Cuna Más in 32 villages located in the districts of Vinchos and Acocro (in the province of Huamanga), Anco and San Miguel (in the province of La Mar).
Igor Salazar, General Manager of PERU LNG, said that with this investment the company reaffirms its commitment to the development of the population in its area of influence. "We believe that children are the future of the country and for this reason we will continue to direct our efforts so that they have a quality education and better opportunities."
The Cuna Más National Program is a targeted social program under the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion (MIDIS), whose objective is to improve the development of children under 3 years of age living in poverty and extreme poverty.
With the signing of this agreement, Cuna Más and PERU LNG also undertook to develop, for a period of one year, activities aimed at disseminating and promoting the benefits of the comprehensive care provided by Cuna Más and the delivery of materials to the Management Committees of the Ayacucho Territorial Unit.
