PERU LNG donates housing modules to the Peruvian Air Force

On Friday, June 28, María Julia Aybar, Vice President and General Manager of PERU LNG, was guest of honor at the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the GRUFE (Special Forces Group of the Peruvian Air Force), known today as DOES (Defense and Special Operations).

During this ceremony held in Pucusana, 27 housing modules donated by PERU LNG were inaugurated, which have a capacity for 1,728 people and serve as dormitories, offices and bathrooms with all the services for the Air Force personnel stationed at this base.

Accompanied by the Commander General of the Air Force, Lieutenant General Rodolfo García Esquerre, who thanked her for the donation, María Julia cut the inaugural ribbon and unveiled the commemorative plaque.

At the time, these modules were used to house the personnel of the contractors involved in the construction of the plant.

It is important to point out that the FAP Special Forces Group is prepared for personnel recovery and hostage rescue; special reconnaissance and direct action against targets in the VRAEM, as well as for aid, search and rescue in natural disasters.
